Good things come in small packages

Lately the market has been buzzing with different versions of the beauty box to cater to our regular beauty needs. Though the concept is in its nascent stage, it has managed to garner the necessary fan following through Facebook, twitter and the likes. For people like me, who have a penchant for trying out new things, this seemed to be a good idea because:
a) It keeps you updated about the products in the market
b) Of the surprise element
c) Who doesn't love a package of pretty box sitting on your table after a long hard day of work?

I have compiled a list of the beauty boxes available in the market for your benefit. Lets take a look at what is in display:

1. The Fab bag (Earlier and popularly known as the Vellvette bag)
I have had the opportunity to try it out (3-month plan) and I was quite happy with what I received. Every month they send 3 deluxe cosmetics and beauty products from top global brands. Sometimes they also send a fourth complimentary product which adds to the surprise element. Along with the products, they also send out cards which give a description of the brand and the product in question, along with discount coupons for your next purchase. In some cases, they also send full sized products, which is great. In my December bag, I got a lip product from Burt and bees which was simply superb.

For a 1 month plan- Rs 599
For a 3 month plan- Rs 433 per month (pay Rs 1299)
For a 6 month plan- Rs 399 per month (pay Rs 2399)
For a 12 month plan- Rs 333 per month (pay Rs 3999)

Azva launches new gold bridal jewellery collection

Mumbai, December 1, 2013: Every bride looks for an individual stylish look that reflects her own personality and yet remains fashionable. Taking cue from this sentiment, Azva by World Gold Council showcased new range of 22kt gold bridal jewellery at the fourth edition of India Bridal Fashion Week in Mumbai. With designs meant to capture the imagination and fancy of the contemporary Indian bride, the new Azva collection featured perfect couture gold jewellery crafted by some of the best craftsmen in the country.  Chitrangda Singh in a spectacular Tarun Tahiliani creation, fired up the ramp as a high priestess of fashion with the stunning Azva jewellery pieces.

Azva is an exquisite range of bridal jewellery collection inspired by 'Saat Pheras or Seven Vows’, an integral Indian wedding ritual. Fashioned in 22-karat gold by the finest craftsmen, each piece reflects the idea of seven.  Azva’s new collection comprises of beautiful designs - from miniature jhumkis and pendant sets to seven row haars and ghungroo based jewellery. Azva show presented contemporary looks that highlighted gold jewellery that can be styled beyond the wedding day as well.

Commenting on Azva’s new collection, Mr. Vipin Sharma, Director, Jewellery, World Gold Council said, “Azva is for the modern, contemporary and fashion conscious bride of today who appreciates fine craftsmanship in jewellery. We unveiled our new collection for the current wedding season with Chitrangda Singh who perfectly resonates as a modern Indian bride who appreciates fine designs and sets trends with her inimitable fashion sense. Our show highlighted that gold jewellery has an incredible potential to create fascinating looks suiting each bride for her special day as well as other life occasions.”

Commenting on being the showstopper for Azva, Chitrangda Singh said, “I’m very happy that Azva approached me to showcase their beautiful bridal gold jewellery collection. Their collection is a fantastic combination of creativity, design and fashion. Azva jewellery has so much more depth than what just meets the eye. I was amazed at the way a neckpiece was transformed into a stunning head piece in my look.”

Azva through their exclusive show at India Bridal Fashion Week in Mumbai highlighted the new trends in bridal gold jewellery. Complementing the collection was mesmerising outstanding performance by Sufi singer – Harshdeep Kaur who performed a medley of her favourite songs to keep the audience enthralled throughout the show.

Azva’s new bridal collection comprises of necklace sets, earrings and bracelet ensembles and is available at leading jewellery stores across the country. For store details, please visit www.azvavows.com.
